At Ellie Sue, we aim to add a little magic into our every day with bold eye-catching designs that customers cannot find anywhere else. Ellie Sue is where comfort meets luxury. A place where parents are just as excited for our products as their children. We seek a skilled designer for our brand's family of products.

What You'll Do:

• Design/illustrate characters and patterns to be used across our family of products including blankets, bags, children's sleepwear, children's clothing, and adult clothing.
• Craft unique patterns and designs for each collection, ensuring each piece tells a story.

• Design 4-6 items that not only stand out individually but also come together as a cohesive collection. This will be expected for each new collection, and we launch new collections 8-12 times a year.

• Engage closely with our team, absorbing feedback and iterating designs to perfection.

Sample Design Brief:

Character Design/Illustration - Princess & the Frog: Take the main characters from the movie and create inspired by/fanart type characters. The design should be modern and on trend, also immediately recognizable without being exact copies of the originals. If possible, a seamless pattern should be created with the characters and elements from the movie. The finished design will then be placed on our family of products from clothing, to blankets and bags. 

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: You've worked on character design before, and your portfolio showcases this.
• Tools: You're adept with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and/or Procreate.
• Vision: You can take a concept and bring it to life, making it better than we imagined.
• Communication: You're articulate, receptive to feedback, and can convey your design choices clearly.
• Passion: A love for Disney would be a cherry on top!
